A view from the cabin in West Virginia...where it all began!

It all started when...

a group a girls got together. Doesn't every good story begin that way? For like it says in Matthew 18:20,

"For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them."

What started as a discipleship group turned into lasting friendships. Years went by and each of us noticed that we were constantly getting discouraged. We often felt out of place at our work/school because we believed in Jesus, and then  we were feeling isolated in our church communities for wanting a career. I mean how often do you hear the pastor speak of career-driven women at Sunday service?

We were getting lost in translation, until our gracious Lord let us find one another. Then we quickly realized that we had nothing to feel guilty or ashamed about for God speaks of career-driven women in Scripture!

We are strong, independent women who feel called to a career- and we should feel PROUD! Why? That is our ministry and how we are called to glorify God.

The idea for this podcast truly started forming in the fall of 2017.  We took a trip with two of our other best friends in the mountains of West Virginia and realized that there is high need for this ministry. There are so many  women that also feel the exact same way we do.

We do not claim to be formally trained in the ways of ministry, but we do believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God, and our Savior. We believe he died the death on the cross for our sins and rose again on the third day (Romans 4:25).

We feel called to reach women who need the same encouragement as we do-daily. And as scary as that might be to be hosting a podcast in a field that we are no experts, we must obey. We just pray that the podcasts and blogs will be God's words, and not ours.

We only wish to encourage and empower women who might more often than not feel exactly as us- different.

Romans 8:28 states,

"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. "

We hope to remind you ladies that you are strong, energetic, and hardworking (Proverbs 31: 17). You are the Modern Esther!
